Laura Flanders of GRITtv talks with filmmaker Michael Moore and single payer activist Donna Smith about the health reform landscape since Moore’s landmark film, Sicko, analyzed America’s healthcare crisis in 2007. Smith, who works with National Nurses United, appeared in the film. Moore and Smith discuss the shortcomings of President Obama’s federal reform law and what needs to happen in its place. The program also shows updates on some of the people whose heartbreaking cases were featured in the film.
