Still confused about how to get health insurance through the Affordable Care Act (ACA)? If you live in the Los Angeles area, you can attend one of five free workshops this October through November to be hosted by the Westside Family Health Center (WFHC) in Santa Monica. “Getting Health Insurance 2014” is led by enrollment counselors certified by the new state health insurance marketplace, Covered California.

The workshops will provide information on how to shop, compare and enroll in affordable, quality health insurance coverage that becomes available on January 1, 2014 through the ACA. The enrollment counselors can also help you figure out which type of insurance coverage you qualify for, as well as explain the basics of health insurance and your rights under the ACA. The online application for California residents is available at http://www.CoveredCa.com.

Classes in English will be held from 11:30AM to 12:30PM on:
