The California OneCare Board of Directors and Campaign Team is profoundly grateful for the generous support from the following wonderful supporters of the California OneCare 365 Ad Campaign.

Kathy Lander, Producer, who worked tirelessly to recruit, schedule, coordinate, cajole, and convince so many to get involved in this exciting venture. Her creativity, energy, and dedication was key to the success of the campaign!

Elliott Gould who starred in the first spot and then became our ad hoc casting director, convincing countless friends and colleagues to appear in our ads.

Lily Tomlin whose ineffable Ernestine starred in two of our best ads.

California OneCare Completes Historic 365 Ad Campaign for Single Payer Health Care

Cheers and thanks to our supporters and donors!
One year ago, California OneCare launched an historic year long campaign of daily 30-second TV ads supporting single payer health care reform. On Monday, we published our 365th ad!
Celebrities, politicians, labor leaders, health care activists and ordinary citizens starred in a relentless barrage of messages indicting our horrific health care system and offering hope of a plan that will one day provide comprehensive health care for all.

The California OneCare 365 Ad campaign published spots online each and every day via email and as posts on the OneCare website. Ads were also placed on cable TV stations during California’s primary election last year. Click Here to view the incredible production team that made it possible.

Health care tragedies happen 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year! We believe we must be just as relentless, day in and day out, if we are going to achieve real health care for all.
The 365 TV Ad Campaign mirrored the intensity and goals of the OneCare 365 City Campaign of 2006-2007. The California OneCare coalition produced advocacy events, concerts and public forums across the state with one new event each day for 365 days straight. The campaign culminated in one of the largest single payer rallies ever for single payer in Los Angles on August 11, 2007.
The next step for California OneCare? Heip us raise funds to fight with.
