Stephen Collins

365 Ad # 32

Stephen Collins shows us how absurd it would be if police protection was like our health care system. There’s an intruder in his home stealing his stuff, but his police insurance plan—Blue Cop—excludes burglary, so he can only get the police to help if the intruder pulls a weapon on him because robbery is covered in his plan. That’s how we run our health care system—exclusions, deferals, denials—anything the insurance companies can do to avoid actually helping you. There’s no reason for it. Single payer, California OneCare would cover everybody, no exceptions.

Great ad . . . Thanks . . . But could you please use better grammar? The line above should read: ” . . . if police protection were like our health care system.”

We need to subsidize the Insurance Industry TODAY like we need more holes in our head.
